About Hose Pros | Owner-Operated On-Site Hydraulic Repair Service

A blown hose or a leaking cylinder stops everything. Your crew waits. Your job falls behind. At Hose Pros, we come to you, fix the problem, and get you moving again. Ruben Dean owns and runs this company. You deal with him directly — not a front desk, not a dispatcher, not someone who has to “check on that for you.

Why Customers Choose Us

Available 24/7

When people call us for help, we actually answer the phone and provide real help. We don’t “get back the next business day” or anything like that. We will come out whenever you need us.

Easy To Get Repairs

You don’t have to haul machinery to a shop or remove parts yourself to transport somewhere. Our fully equipped service truck comes on site for all jobs. If something needs to be removed and taken to our shop, we handle transport and come back to reinstall.

Over 50 Reviews

We have helped hundreds of customers across Southwest Virginia get back up and running faster than any other repair service could. As a result, we’ve managed to collect over 50 reviews and maintain a perfect 5 star rating.

Owner-Operated by Ruben Dean

Ruben Dean is the owner and operator behind Hose Pros. He brings over 10 years of hands-on experience in pipefitting, welding, and high-pressure system installation, and he approaches every hydraulic job with the same mindset: do it right, don’t waste time, and don’t cut corners.

Before starting Hose Pros, Ruben spent years traveling across the United States and Canada working in demanding environments like nuclear power, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and large industrial plant operations—places where safety and accuracy aren’t optional. That background shows up in how he works today on job sites: calm under pressure, focused on the details, and ready to solve problems fast.

Ruben is a Parker-certified hydraulic assembly fabricator with deep knowledge of hose fabrication and fluid power systems. He’s also served as a weld supervisor and fabricator, which means he knows how to lead, troubleshoot, and make decisions when the job is high risk and time matters.

Whether he’s building hoses, handling on-site hydraulic repairs, or helping customers figure out the next best step when a component needs replaced, Ruben keeps the process straightforward and hassle-free—so crews can get back to work with less downtime.

How On-Site Service Works

No trailers. No drop-offs. No waiting around.

  • Call or text us. Tell us what broke, where you are, and what machine it is. Photos help but aren’t required.
  • We come to you. We show up at your job site, farm, or shop with the tools and parts to get started.
  • Hose repairs get done on-site. We build the hose, install it, and check the system before we move on.
  • Cylinder jobs have a simple path. We pull it on-site, reseal or repack it in the shop, and come back to reinstall it.
  • We check everything before we leave. The repair has to be holding and the system has to be running before we pack up.
