CEO / Owner

With over 10 years of experience in pipefitting, welding, and high-pressure system installation, Ruben brings a precision mindset and technical edge to every hydraulic repair he tackles. Before co-founding Hose Pros, he traveled the United States and Canada working across a wide range of industries -including nuclear power, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and industrial plant operations -where safety, accuracy, and reliability were non-negotiable. Ruben is most familiar with high risk, top priority projects that have kept the most important industries operating! Ruben is a Parker-certified hydraulic assembly fabricator with deep knowledge of hose fabrication, and fluid power system integration. Ruben’s past roles as a weld supervisor and fabricator taught him to lead under pressure and solve complex mechanical issues on the spot-skills that now translate directly into high-stakes, on-site hydraulic repairs. Whether he’s elbow deep in a machine or responding to an urgent field call, Ruben’s professional approach and commitment to doing things right set the standard at Hose Pros and make him a huge asset to this company!

Elijah Matherly

COO / Co-owner

With over 10 years of experience in mechanical motion systems, Elijah brings a broad knowledge of designs, schematics and specifications to the table -all of which laid the foundation for his transition into hydraulic field service. Dealing with complex systems that rely on pressure, performance, and reliability — the same principles behind every hydraulic setup Hose Pros supports. Before co-founding Hose Pros, Elijah was an auto technician as well as a precision machinist. Elijah developed a sharp eye for mechanical systems and the discipline required in high-spec, mission-critical environments. His machining work was applied in U.S. Military and defense systems, aero space and defense systems, and precision medical equipment. Add his time as an auto technician, and you’ve got someone who understands how machines work, how they wear down, and how to keep them running. He’s also a Parker Certified Hydraulic Assembly Fabricator, trained in fluid power systems and hose fabrication — a skillset that, combined with mechanical background, helps Hose Pros deliver precise, reliable on-site repairs across industries.
